Angel Food Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

1 cup softened unsalted butter

4 cups powdered sugar

3-4 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon vanilla

  • Beat butter on high until light and fluffy
  • Add vanilla  and mix until combined
  • Add powder sugar and mix on slow until combined
  • Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time while mixing until desired consistency is reached.

*Tip: you may need more or less powdered sugar depending on how stiff or soft you want your buttercream.

*Tip: To make store bought frosting more like homemade, add about 1/2 cup powdered sugar and beat on medium until combined
